WEAR TO BE SAFE is affiliated with, and works closely with, the internationally operating HyTEPS Competence Centre for Power Quality expertise.

HyTEPS conducts thorough risk assessments and evaluations to identify the potential hazards of arc flash in electrical installations. Advanced methodologies and software are used to calculate the energy of a potential arc flash and determine its impact. We also jointly verify that chosen PPE meets all standards such as NEN-EN-IEC 61482-1-2 for clothing and other protective equipment. Support in implementing solutions to reduce arc flash risk, such as working with measurements and analysis and adjusting protection settings, is also possible in consultation.

Together with HyTEPS, WEAR 2B SAFE provides training courses and workshops to make employees aware of arc flash hazards and how to work safely. The trainings include theoretical knowledge and practical exercises for working on installations and the correct use and maintenance of PPE.
